Deleting your RefTrail data

Remove what we got from Facebook

1. Open the RefTrail app and go to Profile.
2. Tap the blue Facebook tile, then Unlink Facebook.

This immediately deletes your Facebook user ID, name, profile picture address, friend count and profile link from our servers, and buyers no longer see any of it. To also remove RefTrail from your Facebook account, open Facebook → Settings → Apps and websites → RefTrail → Remove.

Remove other linked accounts or profile details

In the app: Profile → Edit profile, clear the field and save.

Delete your whole account

To delete your account and everything stored with it (profile, linked accounts, locked photos including the originals, refs you received), email hello@reftrail.app from the email address your account uses. We delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.

For 12 months after the deletion we keep only scrambled codes of your email address and of the accounts you linked, as described in the privacy policy. After that they are deleted too.
